It has been a while since we talked about the PSEi and stock market trends. If you’ve been following my recent updates, you’ve probably noticed the scenery has changed--literally.
I’m Sam 101, and as of 2026, my life has undergone a massive "system upgrade."
1. The Big Pivot: Why the Change?
When I started Diskarte 101, I was "The Money Hacker," focused on helping Filipinos navigate the world of finance. While I still believe in those principles, my own journey has taken me to a new chapter: Life as a Software Engineer in Japan.
The diskarte (strategy) I used to hack my finances is the same diskarte I now use to navigate Tokyo’s train systems, find the best ramen in Kanagawa, and master the world of Artificial Intelligence.
2. What to Expect in 2026
Moving forward, this blog will be my digital lab and travelogue. I am officially shifting the focus to:
Living in Japan 101: Real stories of expat life--from snowboarding in Kandatsu to the "street smarts" needed to survive and thrive in Japanese society.
The AI Prompt Vault: As a Software Engineer, I’m obsessed with the "bleeding edge." I’ll be sharing my personal collection of high-performance prompts for Gemini, ChatGPT, and Grok.
