🚨 THE DAY MARCOS IMMORTALIZED DUTERTE 🚨
March 11, 2025, marks a dark anniversary.
It's a day forever etched in history as the moment a sovereign nation--or rather, the Marcos administration, willingly surrendered a Filipino leader to foreign powers.
Digong's detractors across the Marcos and Pinklawan camps were quick to jeer, mock, and celebrate.
Blinded by their sheer hatred for the man, they reveled in this act of surrender without once considering its profound political implications.
What the administration and the opposition failed to anticipate was how this cowardly act would only serve to STRENGTHEN the Duterte base. 💪
They thought that by taking him out of the country, they were weakening him.
They thought that by hauling him to foreign soil,
he would lie there forgotten.
They calculated that having foreigners try him at the ICC would effectively kill the legend of Duterte.
That was the plan. That was the goal.
Reality, however, has a way of humiliating the ambitious.
The past year has only proven what a MASSIVE political miscalculation this act truly was.
Surrendering Digong to The Hague didn't extinguish his legacy.
Instead, it ignited a fire of patriotism, stirring even those who are usually quiet about politics.
Today, those embers are steadily making way for a national awakening-- a consuming fire that refuses to burn out. 🔥
Digong's term as President ended four years ago.
Yet, even four years into this Marcos administration, no name, no event, and no amount of political capital commands the same sheer gravity as the name DUTERTE.
The country now stands at a precipice.
The ground is shaking.
It will be exciting to see exactly where these fires fall.
