Embracing Destiny.
You've read it in the old stories.
Far greater things always follow whenever the hero finally embraces their Destiny.
This is not to say that things will be easy.
For the journey is rarely easy,
And it will not always be safe.
But oh, it will definitely be great,
GLORIOUS even!
For Inday Sara Duterte finally learned her bittersweet lesson from 2022.
The Presidency was hers for the taking.
But she did not crave power.
Did not crave influence.
She was content remaining Mayor in her own city.
It took much convincing for her to even run as VP.
And so, she refused her date with Destiny.
Or maybe, that was Fate itself taking control,
That was Fate's way of saying,
"Not just yet."
She was not ready for the Presidency then.
She had to endure the many challenges
of the Vice Presidency first,
To be molded,
To realize what it takes to lead a country.
And to understand the purpose she shall serve for the people.
She has been tested.
She went through the Trial by Fire.
And emerged stronger and more resolute.
Now, it appears,
She has found that purpose.
She has accepted the reality that for People like her,
People meant for greater things...
Their lives are not their own.
They are meant to serve.
Destiny will always come knocking,
Beckoning them to answer the call.
Today, a line has been drawn.
Today, the people are called to make a stand.
For at this very moment,
We are witnessing history,
when the Agila from Davao,
finally embraces her Destiny.
President Sara Duterte is inevitable.
Save the date for 2028!
